Snårskogen Bandet
The band Snårskogen started out as a handful of friends who got close to each other through jamming. Speaking to each other with no words, but rather with rythm and tones, was one of the elements that bonded this group of musicians over the course of many years. Eventually three of them began to go into the studio and support each other in their recording processes as solo artists, contributing with ideas and even laying tracks on each others songs. In time the studio group grew as two of the other members of the jam crew also began to participate in the recordings and from there it was only a small stepping stone to sharing in each others' multidisciplinary stage shenanigans as well.
One of the defining qualities of this collaboration has always been to go with the flow and allow different seasons to reaveal the particular level of engagement that feels right for that particular time. Some months the band focuses mostly on recording one song, taking their time to try many different approaches and letting every detail of the arrangement and production grow at its own pace, other seasons the gang focuses much more on jamming, or sometimes they even book a cabin in the wonderful mountain ranges in the north of sweden. They bring an entire roomfull of instruments and recording equipment and commune with nature. The song Ingenting was born in one of those trips.
